Marshall, one of the things I like about your blog is how you share clever and innoavtive new ideas, but other than this post, you've been kind of silent on the hurricane story... the story of the year (century?).

Are there no innovative ideas out there for controlling or diminishing the strength of hurricanes? Or how about great ideas to handle the aftermath? One I thought of last week was to use blimps from Goodyear, MetLife, etc. to fly over areas without power, displaying messages on their electronic signs to notify the people below of when to expect help, or where to get water.

Marshall, you are THE idea man, so I'd really like to know your take on recent events and how they could be prevented or at least be made better in the future.
