The future of storytelling

Take a look at this video:

Spin

It is a well-crafted story that makes you think.

10 years ago it would have been near-impossible for a "normal person" to make something like this. Three years ago, it would have been near-impossible for a "normal person" to distribute it to any sort of audience.

Today, making something at this level of quality is still not "easy", but it is definitely within the realm of possibility. And distribution to millions is free and easy.

Loose Change demonstrates the same thing.

Comments:
Spin was awesome. Going to forward that one around!

If you watch Spin 3 or 4 times, you see a lot of details that you miss on the first pass. It really is interesting.

God is imaginary

What does it cost to create an 8-minute video like that? How many days does it take to write it, then shoot it, then edit it? Does anyone have any idea?

The Spin movie was incredible. Nothing extra, everthing included was necessary to tell the story.

It was made for $500 over 4+ days. Everybody worked for free and most everything was donated.

Hey Marshall,

Not sure if you have seen this one, but here is another neat video leveraging the power of Mentos and Diet Coke:
